Charismatic television and film actor, philanthropist and author Terrence ‘J’ Jenkins has quickly become one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood as the co-anchor of the international news program E! NEWS. Broadcasted on the acclaimed E! Network, the wildly successful pop culture news show dedicates itself to keeping its millions of viewers current on everything related to the entertainment industry. The three-time Emmy® nominee is no stranger to the hosting world after seven years on BET’s 106 & PARK; the longest-running music countdown show in history.

With his signature grin and perfectly tailored suits, Jenkins consistently proves himself to be a jack-of-all-trades. From hosting to acting in worldwide box office hit films including THINK LIKE A MAN and THINK LIKE A MAN TOO, to penning his first literary work, THE WEALTH OF MY MOTHER’S WISDOM and all the credentials in between, the New York native has shown skilled versatility among a vast number of different arenas. Most recently, Jenkins became a Centennial Ambassador for the “Find Your Park” campaign, in celebration of the National Park Services’ 100th anniversary. Jenkins is also a model and spokesperson for several brands, including a recent initiative for Jeep as part of their Jeep Wrangler campaign alongside Kyrie Irving, and he also serves as Vice President of Crown Life branding in addition to being an Ambassador for Crown Royal Black Whiskey. Jenkins was also featured in Sean John ad campaigns and Snapple campaigns. Jenkins has also been featured in GQ Magazine four times in the past two years.

Outside of his acting career and his hosting duties at E!, Jenkins is heavily invested in numerous philanthropic endeavors in addition to serving as an Ambassador for the “Find Your Park” campaign, he’s a spokesperson for Ronald McDonald’s House Charities Future Achievers Scholarship Campaign, a mentor with Steve Harvey’s Disney Dreamers Academy and an avid supporter of the Newark, New Jersey Boys and Girls Club. Jenkins has played a key role in helping to promote Crown Royal’s “Safe Rides Program,” in which pre-paid taxi voucher cards are distributed to patrons at select Crown Life events across the country. Continuing his work for the Obama Administration, Jenkins has also been tapped to host the White House student film festival.

Originally born in Queens, New York, Jenkins spent his childhood years in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and received a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from North Carolina A&T University and is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity.
